GF was off the hook! mmg best lah.. mmg puas hati.. upscaled by 200% compared to last year's.. both in the preparations and quality of the bands that took part. Hands down to all Gempita Managers and Crews.. especially the managers.. for putting so much effort. Saya hanya crew... jadi tolong sikit2 ja.. hanya setakat teman Teh and Shikin pi jumpa potiential sponsors.. oh yeah.. i was given a last minute assignment.. was asked to do the banner.. luckily Alisa and Deera were around to assist, and later Nali and Ali came over to help me complete it.
Semua band mmg gempak lah.. The Public Hardies from RPI being my favorite of the night.. The crowd were shouting like crazy after their performance. Me and Deera were next, aku jadi lemah semangat and cuak gila and nearly wanted to back out. LOL. Performing is simply not my cup of tea sbb aku stage fright, tak pandang audience langsung lah aku.. but everything went well, thanks to Deera.. hehehe.. nyanyi sedap gila so dapatlah kaver aku yg main gitar ntah pape nih.. nothing great. Tapi puas hati lah dapat main lagu Ella.. ngehahaha.. since dulu kecik2 selalu berangan jadi Ella.. yes lahh!
at the end of the day.. Tel aa best.. masa nak intro band.. Rock panggil nama Tel atas stage.. org datang jumpa aku and Deera and tanya.. "U guys are Alisa right?" .. errrr... nak jawab apa? yes and no? hahaha.. siap nama ada kat baju lagi.. tulis gaya eLLy lagi.. aLisa.. cesss.. Tel, kena belanja aku ngan Deera makan woi!!!
But lastly, thanks to Khairi of Purdue who initially came up with the idea to start this BOTB thingy last year.. and Mazran handled it. So they both started what might become a new tradition here, in addition to the Midwest Games). Idea and determination tu penting. Idea sahaja or smangat sahaja.. tak ke mana..
