The much talked about movie Sepet.. watched it last night. It wasn't that good, I expected it to be better.. the story line was fine.. nama pun love story.. tapi aku seriously ingatkan the story would have more drama or hidden messages or "sth" that should make the audience realize "sth" as well.. aku pun tak tau lau apa "sth" tu.. something to do with how we view people of other races in our country kot.. ntah lah.. but i was clearly expecting "sth" lah.. so maybe i thought wrong, or was expecting too much.. the movie had left no impact on me whatsoever.

the cameraman sucked. aku tak suka how the camera moved, or didn't move. there were some unnecessary scenes.. or maybe the scenes sucked so bad that I deemed it tak perlu ada pun takpa.. that if the scenes were acted out better, the thought of the scenes being unneccesary wouldn't have crossed my mind. pastu byk sangat scene berkemban.. also some scenes yg 'tak sesuai', so to speak. maybe sbb aku tgk cerita melayu jarang2, aku tak sedar the direction malay movies are taking.

acting.. ok lah... not too bad.. but far from good lah.. except for ida nerina lah kot.. dia mmg exceptional punya actress. but orkid's (sharifah) love interest.. aiyo.. boring gila character dia.. funny how orkid can fall for jason.. love is blind, ey? lol. but aku suka gila rambut sharifah amani tu.. mak aih.. lawa gila..
oh ya.. lack of soundtrack until 2/3 of the movie..

conclusion, i didn't really like the movie. ahaha. tapi aku bukannya saja nak critic movie melayu.. ada je movie yg aku rasa hebat gila.. cam cerita nasha aziz jadi psychopath tu.. gila power citer tu.. acting pun gempak. heheh. go nasha go!
