So what have I been doing for the past 3 weeks?

Started off the semester with an ice hockey game. Wolverines vs Broncos (WMU). The players were damned skilled (duhh..). Skating is like their second nature. Hockey is an extremely physical game, and watching it live is totally different from watching it on tv. Everytime the players banged into each other on the walls, I felt myself cringe. Brutal lah. I wanted to watch the players get into a fight, but everytime sth starts to happen, the ref resolved the matter. How disappointing. The cheers were unique.. and harsh, hahaha. It was a great game. Did we win? Of course laa.. can't expect less from our hockey team.

Also helped MESA (Muslim Engineering Student Assc) get some funding by helping out in cleaning the Crisler Arena. Reached there early, and got to watch the final 2 minutes of the basketball game, vs Fairbanks. Another victory.

Next, went to the Mock Rock concert at Michigan Theater. It's an annual event whereby Michigan athletes put up a show to raise fund for the Mott's Children Center. We were sitting about 20 rows away from the likes of Micheal Phelps, Steve Breaston and Mike Hart. Brent Petway rapped his way running up and down the aisle, 1 ft away from our seats. Half the ahtletes (guys laa) were shirtless during their performances, damnit.. What a great view... hahahha. Another great show.

Last weekend, at last.. went to see an NBA game after 2 yrs of wanting to, thanks to a friend who influenced me to take an interest in NBA. Pistons vs Sixers. Can't believe that I was in the same building as RIP Hamilton and Chauncey Billups. Warghhh!! Everytime Iverson did anything, the whole Palace booed.. ahhh.. best betul boo AI. First half was ok, macam tgk game kat tv. Second half arrives and everybody were getting hyped especially during the last quarter. We were trailing by 10 points, caught up.. claimed a narrow win. Yet another worth watching game.

So what's next? Most probably the tsunami fund raising concert. Eid Mubarak to all.
